Board the Pentesilea 3 in Tortola or St. Thomas for an adventure vacation in a 5 star floating hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink and orientation. Sail to the Caves at Norman Island, made famous in Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island. Enjoy lunch aboard and get ready for a snorkel of the Caves and watch the hundreds of yellow snappers.
Find a private spot to anchor for the night and have a gourmet dinner al fresco watching the sunset. After sundown, a dinghy trip to the Willie-T, a floating bar and restaurant for a “wild” time under the stars.
After breakfast depart for the Indians. Another great spot to explore the underwater world, especially a fantastic coral variety (Hans’s favorite place). Next a great sail to Cooper Island for lunch and a Rum Punch ashore.
Let’s see if we can find some turtles on our snorkel trip! Enjoy an afternoon sail to Savannah Bay on Virgin Gorda, where we might be the only boat in the anchorage.
Over a special drink from the bartender Hans, we will watch out for the “Green Flash” sunset. We will finish the day with a great meal from the Galley where Ruth prepares all these fantastic meals.
After breakfast, stroll the deserted beach, then off to a visit to the Baths. Explore the wondrous house sized boulders that form fascinating pools and grottoes. Take a hike up to the hill for a beautiful view of the Sir Francis Drake Channel. The Crew will treat you to a Hamburger in Paradise at the Restaurant and a swim in the fresh water pool with a Pina Colada while waiting for the lunch.
An afternoon sail to the North Sound. Anchor off Eustasia Sound behind the reef.
Visit the Bitter End Yacht Club and see their beautiful gardens. Enjoy a drink and a fantastic dinner ashore.
Wake up to the smell of Bacon and Eggs and a fantastic view of Necker Island, the resort of the rich and famous. Let’s go and explore the Eustusia Sound Reef. Lots of fish and sea stars to see. Every time some new animal will be discovered.
After a great lunch let’s sail out to Anegada. This island is very flat; the highest point is 28feet above sea level. This gives you the feeling of sailing out to sea. No worry, we will spot Anegada about 45 minutes later. Coming to Anegada the white beaches are just endless. This is THE place to eat Lobster at the beach under the stars. What a feast. Don’t miss it.
After breakfast take an island taxi over to Loblolly Beach and explore the reefs for turtles, all kinds of fish and you might even see a lobster. There is also a fantastic beach to explore; you can walk for miles on the pure white sandy beach.
Back to the boat and a great downwind sail to Monkey Point on Guana Island. Drinks at sunset and another try on the Green Flash. Dinner served again under the stars in Paradise.
Snorkel Monkey Point and look for turtles and the great Tarpons. There is also a resident Octopus and if we are lucky, he will make his presence. Another short down wind sail to Jost Van Dyke, home of the famous Foxy’s bar. Visit Foxy for a sundown performance and dinner at the boat or ashore. Or anchor at Diamond Cay and visit Sandy Cay and the natural Whirlpool close to Diamond Cay.
Sail back to Tortola after breakfast and stop in at Sopers Hole. Get some last minute shopping done and we have to get back to Road Town or St. Thomas for your flight back home the next morning.
